Borussia Dortmund will not sell Jadon Sancho "below value" amid the financial impacts of COVID-19.

Dortmund are holding out for a transfer fee of $143 million.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona are targeting Sancho.

"I can clearly say that despite the existential crisis [for football] even the richest clubs don't have to believe they can go bargain hunting at Dortmund," Hans-Joachim Watzke said. "We must not sell anyone below value."

And Dortmund have not given up all hope that Sancho will remain at the club for one more season, with Watzke adding: "We've said it before corona already that we favour the idea Jadon stays here. But, at the end of the day, you also must respect what the player wants."

Harry Kane said that he wouldn't necessarily finish his career at Tottenham if he felt the club weren't progressing.

"I love Spurs and I'll always love Spurs," said Kane on Instagram Live.

"I've always said that if we're not progressing or going in the right direction then I'm not someone to just stay there for the sake of it. I'm an ambitious player, I want to improve and get better. I want to become one of the top players so it all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress. It's not a definite 'yes I'll stay there forever', but it's not a 'no' either."

Kane also added that late June was the limit in re-starting the Premier League season.

"There needs to be a point where enough is enough. Probably the limit for me is the end of June. Playing into July or August and pushing next season back, I don't see too much benefit in that."

Xavi re-affirmed his desire to one day manage Barcelona, but will do so under a new project and without toxic people around the dressing room.

Xavi reportedly turned down a chance to return to the club last winter.

“I am clear that I want to return to Barcelona, I am very excited. Now that I have seen myself coaching I think I can bring things to the players. But I made it clear to them that I saw myself in a project that started from zero and in which the decision-making was mine," said Xavi.

Currently managing at Al Sadd in Qatar, Xavi mentioned Jadon Sancho and Serge Gnabry as players he would like to bring through at Barcelona.

“I don’t know if Neymar would fit in due to the social issue, but in football terms I have no doubts it would be a spectacular signing. They don’t need many new players: maybe Jadon Sancho [or] Serge Gnabry.”

Carlos Vela admitted that LAFC held up a potential loan move to Barcelona last winter.

"Barca set up a scenario of [going there for] four months at that time and I accepted it because it was a very good opportunity. I wasn't going to say, 'Oh, I want two years, and if not, I'm not going.'

"They said four months and I'd have gone for four [months]. But LAFC did not make it easy for me to leave, although it is understandable. In the end, they seek the best for themselves and everyone else does too. I tried, it didn't come off and there's no problem because I am more than happy here," said Vela.

Vela has scored 50 goals in 61 matches with LAFC.

Vela added that he sees soccer more as a profession than a passion.

"I don't like the soccer industry and yes, I do like to play. The truth is I've been through a lot and you see that this is a job. It's not like for fans, for whom it is a feeling and a passion. As a player, seeing what I see and how they treat and handle us, you end up seeing it in that way [as a job].

Jose Mourinho is reportedly expecting a transfer fund of $155 million this summer.

Mourinho is targeting 6 players, including: Youcef Atal, Jamal Lewis, Marcel Sabitzer and two LaLiga players in Eder Militao and Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Mourinho recently hit out at his lack of depth following Tottenham's loss to RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

"All of the subs for Leipzig would start on my team," said Mourinho after the match.

Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar are the highest paid players in world football, according to Football France.

The magazine estimates that Messi will earn $140 million in revenue from salary, bonuses, and advertising this year.

Ronaldo is estimated to earn $126 million this season.

Diego Simeone is the highest paid manager in the game, earning $43.5 million. 

Barcelona must choose between Neymar and Lautaro Martinez due to a decrease in their summer transfer funds, according to ESPN.

The club reportedly prefer to sign Neymar, with president Josep Maria Bartomeu eager to bring the Brazilian back before his candidacy ends in 2021.

There are those who prefer Martinez, who can replace Luis Suarez as the club's out and out striker.

The 22-year-old Martinez is also six years younger than Neymar.

Inter will offer midfielder Marcelo Brozovic a contract extension this summer.

Brozovic, whose contract expires in 2022, currently has a buyout clause of $64 million.

Antonio Conte would like the buyout clause to be eliminated as part of the extension.

Brozovic has made 23 appearances for Inter this season.

Josep Maria Bartomeu is looking to extend Lionel Messi's contract.

Messi's contract currently runs through the 2021 season, though there is a clause that allows him to leave at the end of this season.

The 32-year-old Argentine reportedly wants to sign a one-year extension, with Barcelona offering him a lifetime contract.

"As long as the club and the fans want me to stay from my side there will be no problem. That's my idea, to stay here. I want to win another Champions League, I want to win more Ligas and that will always be my goal. There have always been a lot of clubs interested in me and who were even willing to meet my release clause and I have had many opportunities to leave but it never occurred to me and that hasn't changed," said Messi in an interview last January.

Kieran Trippier said that he eventually wants to retire at Burnley, where he began his professional career.

"I would love to retire there. That's my aim, to retire at Burnley," Trippier told the Burnley Express.
